About the Event
This is a ride on day one of the St. George trip. You need to choose either this ride or Lynn's ride called Lost Creek Mountain for Friday. The Saturday ride is a combined ride led by Lynn called the Gunlock Gold Strike Trail. It needs to be signed up for separately.
Caution on this ride - It is an extremely advanced ride through rough terrain. More details in ride notes when they come out, but this ride is not for the average NUATV member. It is rated 5.
This ride will be about 65 miles south of St.George on a gravel road to an old mine.
There are spectacular views of an old copper mine with remnants of old mining ore trucks, dining buildings and mining shafts etc. Snap canyon is a beautiful canyon leading up in elevation to a Ponderosa Forest. The trail leading to Twin Point goes…
